instant feedback is fine...comparison shopping isnt. im sure TMP has absolutely no problem with figure requests and construcive criticism. but "THIS FIGURE IS A PIECE OF SHIT" and "OH SNAP YO, LOOK WHAT NECA MADE THAT TMP SHOULDA BEEN ALL OVER" type threads dont benefit anyone.

Weird, I coulda sworn it would have been the other way around.

read above.

how many suggestions does TMP get via email? id be willing to bet the volume is very very high (maybe dion could fill us in?). alot of people dont care to put their ideas and feedback on the message board and let it be subject to attack...and who can blame them?

At the risk of sounding like an ass -- which has never stopped me before -- if we're not doing anything that interests you, then why come to the site at all?

I'm certainly not trying to drive anyone away, I'm just trying to understand.

We've been far too lenient for far too long. The issue isn't really about other companies -- though I don't see why we would use our paid bandwidth to advertise someone else's product -- it's about the behavior of some people on the board. If your only goal is to start slapfights, your days are numbered.

We want everyone to come to the site and be happy, but we're not going to tolerate the sort of asinine behavior that's becoming more widespread.
Respectfully,
d
